TASK
The idea was to create a series of illustrated postcards that depicts the concept of "Flight". All of the 4 compositions below showcase the impact on perception with the help of different color combinations and light techniques.
The color of the main object in the first postcard merges with its surroundings. Despite its merging with the background, it still remains in our focus.
All objects in the second postcard are homogeneous in lightness and thus transmit airiness.
The idea of the third postcard is the "magic of soaring dreams". The chosen color scheme depicts that the main object and a couple of small elements are saturated than the rest. Therefore, it seems that the elements contrast with the environment.
With the help of light colors and chromatic contrasts, it seems that the main object in the fourth postcard is sort of in the front. While the secondary elements are put as if on the background. This, in turn, conveys a sense of flight above the clouds.
